Implicit tries to plot implicit functions of the form f(x,y) = c. Thus it can be used to plot implicit functions, defined by f(x,y) = 0, together with contour lines (level surfaces) of the function z = f(x,y). (It can also be used to plot explicitly defined functions, say sin(x), by defining f(x,y) = y - sin(x), although there are better programs available to do this.)

To install Implicit, unzip Implicit.zip, and copy the files
Implicit.exe (the application, Implicit)
Implicit.chm (the Compiled HTML Help file, Implicit)
and any "*.IMW" and "*.OPT" files
into the directory of your choice.
No formal installation process is necessary. Implicit does not make any system changes and uninstalls cleanly.
If you find any bugs, please cut and paste the error message, describe what you were doing at the time, and email this information to me: David Lovelock at dsl@math.arizona.edu. Thank you.
