Project Description

The central components of the projects are two-week institutes for grades 4-8 teachers (TIME and TIMEx2) and grades K-3 teachers (TIMEx3). The goal of each institute is to build mathematical knowledge and connect content with instructional methods. Additional professional development is provided four times during the school year and during a second (one-week) summer institute. As of August 2008, approximately 180 grades 4-8 teachers and 25 grades K-3 teachers have participated in the projects.
