Math 563 - Probability - Sequels
Math 563 is a prerequisite for Math 565abc and for Math 567ab.
These two courses alternate years and they both begin in the spring
semester and then continue in the Fall semester of the next academic
year. 565a will be offered in the spring (2019).
567b is running this semester (Fall 2018).
565a covers stochastic processes in
discrete time, 565b is stochastic processes in continuous time and
565c covers stochastic differential equations.
567a and 567b cover theoretical statistics.
Math 564 is a lower level course than 563. It does not use measure theory
and covers roughly the same material as the undergraduate course 464.
It is offered every Fall semester.
