Math 563 - Probability - Sequels

Math 563 is a prerequisite for Math 565abc and for Math 567ab. These two courses are offered every other year.

565 is a three semester sequence that begins in the spring semester and then continues in the fall and spring semesters of the next academic year. 565b is running in fall 2021. So 565c will run in spring 2022 and 565a will run in spring 2023.

567 is a year long sequence. 567a will be offered in Fall 2022 and 567b in spring 2023.

565a covers stochastic processes in discrete time, 565b is stochastic processes in continuous time and 565c covers stochastic differential equations.

567a and 567b cover theoretical statistics.

Math 564 is a lower level course than 563. It does not use measure theory and covers roughly the same material as the undergraduate course 464. It is offered every Fall semester.
