About Me
I have more than a decade of teaching experience on both the university and high school levels.
My B.S. in Mathematics Education and M.S. in Applied Mathematics were earned from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
After teaching high school for a few years, I decided to pursue a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
My dissertation was "Conventional and Asymptotic Stabilities of Decomposed Compact Methods for Solving Highly Oscillatory Wave Problems" under the advisement of Professor Qin Sheng.
Following graduate school, I worked with mentor Professor Moysey Brio as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
Fun Facts
I am originally from Louisiana.
I have a Scottish Terrier (pictured above) named Duncan.
I enjoy growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs in my garden.
I love a good DIY project.
I've also been known to sew on occasion.
