3d-Incompressible Navier-Stokes equations & A Probability Problem

Motivated by a possible approach to uniqueness problems for global mild solutions to  3d-incompressible Navier-Stokes equations,  we consider a relaxed version of the  LeJan-Sznitman stochastic cascade associated with Navier-Stokes equations that permits stochastic explosion to  occur in the genealogy of the cascade. In this talk we will describe this relaxation as well as an approach to criteria for non-explosion and explosion. This is based on joint work with Radu Dascaliuc, Enrique Thomann, and Tuan Pham at Oregon State University.
