Mathematics Instruction Colloquium

Intro to Online Teaching
Series: Mathematics Instruction Colloquium
Location: MATH 401
Presenter: Cheryl Ekstrom, Dept. of Mathematics

How will your teaching change in going from a physical classroom to a virtual classroom? (Spoiler alert: not much!) In this workshop we will be discussing the similarities and differences between the two forms of teaching, focusing on specific periods of the term: initial course prep, the week before classes start, the first days/week of class, the first exam prep, and the final exam prep.  This workshop is open to all instructional faculty and grad students. For those enrolled in the first workshop series, please complete the icebreaker in the Math Online Teaching Workshop Series D2L site (https://d2l.arizona.edu/d2l/le/content/852448/Home).  This session will be repeated on April 1st for those enrolled in the second session of this workshop series.

(Refreshments will be served in 401N before the talk.)
