First Steps for Getting Thunderbird/Other IMAP to Work with Math Email

You need to enable IMAP in your GMail account.  Here's how:

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click the gear icon on the top right. 
3. Select See All Settings.
4. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
5. Select Enable IMAP.
6. Click Save Changes.
