Subject: clarification

It is I, Art Fortgang.

I am somewhat flattered that some people, after so many years, remember
that horible semester (at least for me). However I do have to set the
record straight.

I took teaching my classes seriously! I don't believe I missed one
class, although it is possible I did miss one or two (but definitely no
more). I did stop attending my own classes, but this was gradual.
Rund's class, not withstanding the odor, was useless and the first to
go. But the others followed within a month or so. I audited Art
classes in their place.

I did not blackmail UA by withholding grades. What I did do, is apply
for unemployment insurance benifits, which Prof Rund (The Nazi) tried to
pervent, but lost. I hate to debunk a myth, but teaching math (and
physics) has always been important to me and I wouldn't renage on that.

Want to know anything else, e-mail me.
