Quantum Mechanics and Mathematical Physics

Introduction to Quantum Mechanics:

Around the turn of the century, physicists developed new theories to explain surprising experiments that contradicted the classical knowledge. For example, it was no longer clear whether light should be thought of as a wave or as a particle. The new physics is called quantum mechanics. As you might expect, a lot of cool math is involved (among other things, matrices and complex numbers). We hope to perform some surprising physical experiments.
