Alpha Fold: AI solving the protein folding problem

When

1 – 2 p.m., March 23, 2026

Where

Biological functions are dictated by protein structures. Being able to reconstruct the shape of these proteins has been an ongoing problem in biology. We have only solved a fraction of the problem with past experimental methods. AI has been solving all known protein configurations. This talk will look at the potential for future developments with these tools.
