Undergraduate Teaching Assistantship Programs Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) 

These research experiences generally take place over the summer at universities across the country and sometimes internationally. The programs are intended to bring students from other campuses in to participate. There is usually funding offered to participants, including housing and often travel allowance, though eligibility may be restricted depending on the program and funding source.
